On the morning, you can start the day at the Great Wall. It's 150 miles (240 km) long and extremely massive. You'd think that it could hold all the world's people in check if you stand by it from end to end. But no matter how many people there are, the wall is so huge that it can't be surpassed.

Afternoon, you can go to the Summer Palace. This is one of China's greatest tombs and museums. It holds records from 24 emperors (1603–1898) who ruled there over the course of their lives. They have left their names behind in various tombs and shrines.

Lunch at a park where you can enjoy the city's greenery. After that, you can visit the Grand Old Wall, which is about 60 miles (97 km) long. This wall was constructed entirely by hands rather than machines because of its age and size. The views from above are absolutely stunning.

Evening, the Capital City Tour Guide will be there to show you where all the important attractions are. You can check out the Beijing National Stadium for viewing the game. Also, the Beijing National Museum offers a variety of exhibits that provide insight into Chinese history and culture.

Making a trip to visit the Summer Palace sounds incredibly impressive, but it's actually very practical and necessary for understanding historical events. Because you are such a short duration trip to Beijing, I don't think you can just skip all that history. But regardless, it's important to know a little bit about each of these places so you can have fun learning something new!
